The Crisfield Heritage Foundation (CHF), is your link to discovering and learning about a city that is at the heart of Chesapeake Bay culture and history.  Many things come to mind when thinking of Crisfield.  Seafood, sunsets and outdoor recreation are a few, and yes this is our heritage, but there’s more, much more.  Our history is fascinating, environment pristine and our culture is unlike any other.

Crisfield, in essence, is a way of life that has evolved over three and a half centuries of people being directly connected to the waters and lands of the Chesapeake Bay.

Since 1977, the CHF has been committed to preserving the history and culture of Crisfield and the surrounding areas through our programs, museums and events.

To celebrate the 40th anniversary of the CHF, we are launching a variety of new activities and attractions, along with continuing the restoration of the Crisfield Customs House.  Please browse this site to see what the CHF offers and view our Plan Your Visit page so you too can become better connected to the Chesapeake Bay way of life.

The Crisfield Heritage Foundation is a 501C (3) Non-Profit Organization.  Please view our Get Involved page to see how your contribution will help save the heritage of Crisfield.
