The Crisfield Heritage Foundation will be hosting its Annul Open House for the J. Millard Tawes Museum on Saturday, May 4th 2019 at 4:00 pm. The museum will be inviting Crisfield High School Students to present the YES Stories Project. The YES Stories Project provides digital technology and skills for Students in our Community to explore local history and gain professional expertise by creating online stories. The Crisfield Heritage Foundation has worked with local Crisfield High School Teacher Brandon Austin’s 9th and 10th grade U.S History classes on the YES Stories Project.
During the J. Millard Tawes Museum’s open house the museum’s Exhibit Hall will be open, showcasing all of our exhibits including our newly added “Seafood Packaging Houses of Crisfield.” For our open House admission will be free and we will also have refreshments during the presentation. Come on down to the J. Millard Tawes Museum on Saturday, May 4th 2019 at 4:00 pm for a great time and some local history.
