The Tawes Museum, located at 3 Ninth Street, is open from May through Labor Day on Tuesday through Saturday from 10 am to 2 pm. The museum is open October through December on Thursday through Saturdays from 10-2. Museum tours are available outside these hours by advanced appointment. The Gift Shop at the Tawes Museum is open during museum hours with lots of Chesapeake-themed and locally-made items. It is also the largest seller of regional books in the area. Check us out on Facebook for special offers and updates.
